I had a very clean room with a working microwave and fridge which made it easy to keep my meals handy. The bar/grill in the hotel was solid, I enjoyed a good burger while unwinding after a long day, and that’s a rarity.

It wasn't exactly cheap but honestly, for the amenities and service, I thought it was fair enough.

The stay was enjoyable, especially with three teenagers in tow. The garden area was a hit, and the kids loved the nearby playground. The hotel's free shuttle service to the mall was super convenient for our shopping trips. Additionally, the restaurant served up some surprisingly delicious dinner options.

My kids wished for a breakfast option included with the room. It would have been more convenient and set a better tone to start our busy days together.

This was just a proper fit for a short weekend trip in Fairfax with incredible value for money. The front desk staff was friendly and helped me find a good local spot for dinner that I really enjoyed. Bring your own snacks since food options are limited and a bit pricey.

During my stay, I truly appreciated the welcoming staff who made me feel valued, and the comfortable king room was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the nearby Ox Hill Battlefield Park, which is only about 0.8 km away, providing a beautiful walking area to enjoy nature and history.

The breakfast was a highlight, with delicious made-to-order omelets that fueled my busy day! The room could use some updates, though. Overall, a good stay! 🥞

The location of the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax is fantastic, especially for access to Fair Oaks Mall and nearby dining options. The shuttle service to the DC Metro is super convenient, making trips to the city easy. The bed in my King Room was comfy and made for a restful night. I appreciated the in-room coffee maker and the flat-screen TV for entertainment. However, there were some disappointing aspects. The bathroom could use better ventilation since there was a persistent mildew smell in the air. Maintenance didn't respond as quickly as I hoped. While the breakfast options were decent, I think it should be included in the room rate automatically, not an added expense. Service at the restaurant was hit or miss, with some staff being attentive while others seemed rushed and inattentive. Overall, my visit had a mix of comfort and frustrations, but I would consider staying again due to the location and friendly atmosphere.
